St. John Fisher Parish will hold a Corpus Christi Procession, 1 p.m. Sunday, June 11, at St. John Fisher Church, 4225 Chichester Ave., Boothwyn. The Corpus Christi celebration will begin with an 11:30 a.m. Mass, followed by the Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament at approximately 12:30 p.m. At 1 p.m., the procession will begin inside the church and proceed outdoors, consisting of Father Robert McDermott carrying the Blessed Sacrament, followed by various groups of parishioners. The procession will stop at three stations outdoors, where there will be a Gospel reading, homily and hymn each time. At the conclusion of the procession, everyone will return to the altar in church for a final Benediction. Following, there will be a reception in the Parish Center for all participants. All of this is part of the Archdiocesan Eucharistic Renewal and all parishioners, former parishioners, and friends of the parish are invited to participate in this special event. The East Coast Church of Media: worship and prayer service at 10 a.m. on Sundays in the Providence Room at the Hampton Inn in Media.
